In 2007 I was asked to shoot wedding photography, a Brisbane wedding of a girl who had seen my work (which was not wedding photography but personal work). I ummed and ahhh’d about it for a while before I finally accepted. And from that moment on I was hooked, I was beginning to become a wedding photographer.
As a Brisbane wedding photographer I get to see some amazing weddings in brisbane and in the greater SE of Queensland, as well as other destination wedding photography. The thrill of shooting the greatest day in the lives of couples has completely changed my life and I am thankful to all those couples that have allowed me to do so over the years. I get to witness people in their finest moments, I get to see the love that exists between families and friends on a weekly basis, I get to see intimate moments that are shared between these people and their loved ones and document that for them and put together an album of their memories, memories that will last a lifetime and hopefully memories that will be enjoyed by generations to follow. The feeling that I get when people see their wedding photography for the first time is one of the greatest parts of my week, that I get to do this as a career makes me a very lucky individual indeed.
I have studied photography in my youth, I have worked for various photographers during what I like to call “my apprentiship” and I now have many years experience of Brisbane weddings under my belt. Now I really am, a Brisbane wedding photographer.
Brisbane is a wonderful city to be a wedding photographer.
