Brisbane couple Simon and Emily were married in front of their nearest and dearest friends at this stunning Gold Coast Hinterland house on the Panorama at Tallai (or little Canada as it was on the day). The private, intimate wedding was such a lovely celebration of these two families coming together from all over the world. Emily is Canadian and the house was filled with lovely accents all day, it was easy to forget that you were in the gold coast hinterlands. The wedding ceremony was magical, overlooking the Hinze dam at the rear of the property. Currumbin was the destination for our location shots and it is a spot which is held very dear to Simon and Emily both from a time that they lived here. What a beautiful part of the world! We had a magical hour of light (just one of those perfect evenings) a light breeze and really good swell making for some really beautiful (and very Australian) images of the southern tip of the gold coast. Wedding photography should evoke a certain feeling to it when it is viewed, even when you do not know the couple the photography should make you feel like you do. This wedding was one of those weddings that I feel that I captured these two individuals and their wedding day perfectly. I really love this wedding. Please Enjoy….

Thanks Emily and Simon for choosing me for your beautiful wedding in two of the most beautiful parts of the world. You really made me feel welcome at your wedding which made my job so simple. I was able to capture your day exactly how it was. A beautiful day full of close friends and your family, exactly how a wedding should be.
