Rachel and Andrew had planned their wedding for Hayman Island (near Hamilton Island) prior to cyclone Yasi that forced the closure of Hayman Island just before their wedding. After a brief period of concern they were told by Hayman Island that their wedding had been moved to the fabulous Qualia on Hamilton Island and after a quick visit up there prior to the wedding they were excited and now I know why. I want to be a Hamilton island wedding photographer! I have been to some of the most fabulous places on earth but this place is certainly one of the most amazing places that I have been.
The resort was absolutely stunning. Qualia and Hamilton Island is really beautiful. The resort itself is perfect from the minute you arrive until the minute you leave. If you could ever dream of being married somewhere, this would be it. I am not a regular hamilton island wedding photographer but I look forward to coming back up here soon.
Rachel and Andrews intimate wedding was a really lovely way for two people in love to commit to each other, surrounded by their immediate family and their cherished friends. Rachel is beautiful bride and her and the girls made me feel really welcome and privileged to be photographing her stunning wedding. Under the shade of a large tree on the northern tip of Hamilton Island, Andrew and Rachel said their vows. With a perfect day, the clouds threatened but went away to leave the most perfect Hamilton Island evening, Under the stars. Thank you Rachel and Andrew, thank you Hamilton Island and thank you Qualia. For more beautiful destination weddings the link is here.
